FCA celebrates 2nd anniversary July 7

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

STRATFORD, Conn., June 30, 2018—Fairfield Craft Ales (FCA), the music-inspired small-batch brewery on Honeyspot Road in Stratford is celebrating its second anniversary on Saturday, July 7.

From 1-6 pm, there will be $4 pours of all 12 beers on tap, food available for purchase from The Meat Truck, complimentary munchies in the tap room, and raffles of FCA merchandise and gift certificates, as well as gift certificates from several nearby restaurants such as Local Kitchen & Beer Bar in Fairfield and TruNorth in Bridgeport. FCA will also release its new doppelbock, Baby Got Bock, a delicious dark lager that weighs in at 7.5% alcohol by volume. There will be cask of the brewery’s Belgian-style tripel, Divine Thing, infused with blood orange, hazelnut, and cappuccino tiramisu flavors.

From 6-9 pm, there will be a private catered party with the owners that is already sold out, featuring a pig roast prepared by The Meat Truck, more raffles, and live music from local musicians Fred & Ethel.

Fairfield Craft Ales was opened at 724 Honeyspot Road in Stratford on July 8, 2016, by Mike Borruso and Joe Bow of Fairfield. The tap room always has 12 beers on tap across a range of styles, all named after songs. In addition to the ever-popular pale ales and IPAs, there’s always at least one dark beer (a stout or porter), the staple brown ale called Brown-Eyed Girl, some Belgian and/or German styles, and—of course—the burning-hot habanero IPA, Fire. The brewery’s regular hours are 5-9 pm Thursdays and Fridays, 1-9 pm Saturdays, and 1-6 pm Sundays. There’s trivia every Thursday night, vinyl record shares most Friday nights, and live music most weekends.
