Bartender/Salesperson
(Part Time Position)
At Fairfield Craft Ales, making delicious craft beer is our focus and passion. But a big part of our brand is providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our tap room customers, and we want to extend our brand further through more outside sales. We are looking for dynamic individuals who share our passion to join our team.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Bartender/Salesperson will be responsible for delivering a fantastic customer experience to everyone in our tap room, and for developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships with bars, restaurants, and package stores. This includes:
● Greeting & hosting all FCA’s customers
● Properly serving our draft beers to our customers
● Ability to sell packaged beer to go & merchandise
● Educating customers on our products & the craft beer industry
● Educating customers on our theme & story
● Keeping the tasting room immaculate before, during, and after your shift
● Busing tables & clearing any trash in the tap room
● Visit and deliver samples/kegs/cans to local bars, restaurants, and package stores to promote our beers for sales commission
A passion for craft beer and enthusiast demeanor is a necessity for this position. This position is part-time and will primarily work when we are open to the public. There may be opportunities to work special events at the brewery during the week and the occasional outside event. This position will average 25-30 hours per month and requires night and weekend availability.
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL:
● Be 21+ and have the ability to work around alcohol without abusing it
● Have prior experience in the brewery/bar or restaurant industry
● Have a good understanding of FCA’s products and overall brand
● Have an infectious enthusiasm and passion for beer, people, and experiences
● Be able to lift or carry up to 50 lbs
