Sometimes we overhear some pretty funny stuff working the bar. Like last Friday when two of our regulars, John and Mike, met for the first time. Just hanging out, talking, and laughing for a while.
Then John says, “Hey Mike, you should come over for dinner at our house sometime.”
Mike was visibly hesitant and said, “Well, I don’t know.”
“Oh come on,” said John. “I like you Mike. You’re the kind of guy…”
Then Mike jumped in and finished his sentence, “…that you like to bury in your backyard?”
Maybe you had to be there, but we thought it was pretty funny.
