Come on down on Saturday for this year’s batch of our honey BBQ ale, Dixie Chicken. This one built a good fan base last year with its unique combination of cherrywood smoked malt, honey, and four types of roasted hot peppers. And to give it slightly more kick than last year (without being overwhelming), we threw a good amount of habanero peppers into the fermenter. It got as hot as we wanted within 24 hours!
And don’t forget to hold the afternoon of Saturday, July 8, open for our one-year anniversary. Starting at 1 pm, we’ll have two special casks—Big Me double IPA with habanero peppers and Dixie Chicken honey BBQ ale aged on mango and grilled peaches. From 2-5 pm, we’ll have live music from Fred & Ethel. Then at 6 pm, we’ll be closing a little early for our private anniversary party, which has just sold out. The following day, we’ll have live music with Matt Orlando from 2-5 pm.
