This Thursday, we’re releasing our fresh-hopped brown ale, Brown-Eyed Girl. We made it with hops from Mike’s backyard and from the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station in Hamden, which is trying to determine whether Connecticut could support a hops-growing industry. It’s a tasty, chocolatey treat.
Mug club members get $1 off their first pour of Brown-Eyed Girl all weekend. So does anyone who wears a Halloween costume (but no creepy clowns please).
On Saturday, Joe will be at the Black Rock Farmer’s Market’s 3rd Annual Harvest Hootenanny. Walrus & Carpenter will be roasting a pig!
Also, mug club memberships are available for $75 per year. You get:
- A mug club membership card that expires one year after your date of purchase
- A 20-oz. pour for the cost of a pint
- One free mug fill during the week of your birthday (new benefit that will also be given to current mug club members)
- One free empty 32-oz. Fairfield Craft Ales logo growler (you have to pay for fills)
- 10% off any purchase of Fairfield Craft Ales merchandise at the brewery (new benefit that will also be given to current mug club members)
- Invitations to “first taste” parties for new beer releases, at which you’ll get $1 off your first mug fill (discount is a new benefit that will also be given to current mug club members)
- First dibs on subsequent year’s membership slots (but you must renew on time)
