Top 3 October beers, Hartford brewfest, beer dinner in Westport

Our recent new releases are topping our bestseller list this month. You have to come in and try them (or have them again). Hard to Handle, our imperial stout aged on bourbon-soaked French oak, is number one so far in October. Number two is Dixie Chicken, our honey barbecue ale, which was our top seller for September. And in third place after only four days on tap is Little Darlin’, our New England IPA double dry-hopped with Citra.

If you’re in Hartford on Saturday, make your way over to Hartford on Tap and visit Mike, who will be serving Hard to Handle and our saison, Turn! Turn! Turn! (which is currently on hiatus from the tap room).

And looking forward to next Wednesday, Vespa in Westport will be hosting a beer dinner featuring four of our brews. Only 25 tickets available, so book your seat soon!

Also, mug club memberships are available for $75 per year. You get:

  • A mug club membership card that expires one year after your date of purchase
  • A 20-oz. pour for the cost of a pint
  • One free mug fill during the week of your birthday (new benefit that will also be given to current mug club members)
  • One free empty 32-oz. Fairfield Craft Ales logo growler (you have to pay for fills)
  • 10% off any purchase of Fairfield Craft Ales merchandise at the brewery (new benefit that will also be given to current mug club members)
  • Invitations to “first taste” parties for new beer releases, at which you’ll get $1 off your first mug fill (discount is a new benefit that will also be given to current mug club members)
  • First dibs on subsequent year’s membership slots (but you must renew on time)
